FIFA-badged Joel Wonka Doe and Emmanuel Mensah of Liberia served as assistant referee #1 and fourth official at the grand-finale of the 2022 West African Football Union (WAFU Zone ‘A’) men’s under-20 Nations Cup finals at the Stade Cheikha in Nouakchott on 11 September.

Referee Abdoulaye Manet (Guinea) and assistant referee #2 Helio Correia Semedo (Cape Verde) complete the quartet.

Samba Diallo scored a 64 minute header to crown Senegal as champions and qualify the two neighbors to represent WAFU Zone A in the African finals in Egypt.

It was the quartet’s second appearance, having officiated Mauritania’s 1-1 draw with Mali in the final Group ‘A’ match at the same venue on 5 September.
